Petrosphere Pendant

A miniature Petrosphere, hand carved and capturing all the magic and tactility of the larger versions of these Enigmatic mysterious stone carvings from the Scottish late Neolithic. This beautiful natural brown pebble was picked up on a beach in northern Scotland, while i am not certain of its specific type i can say for certain it is a hard durable and beautiful stone. I have stylised the design to incorporate some of the classic looks of a few original specimens. Drilled and hung on a hand woven 20 inch rope cord fastened with a genuine mammoths tusk toggle. This piece is thoroughly unique and would be a fine talking piece and status symbol on any occasion. The sphere is 30mm across.
