Since early human times we began to make beads and any meal usually came with bones in it that were often used to make decorative adornments. These beads are based in finds from the Iron Age when the little ring pip carvings were a popular addition to carved bone objects. I have stained the designs with natural ground and crushed ochre stone as was the traditional way it was done back then and indeed today, jewellers still use this method to finish jewellery.
