Amber Bear amulet

This handsome little wandering Bear is Handcarved from Baltic Amber and was inspired by the animal effigies found across the Baltic states, carved from pieces of Amber for thousands of years. This warm honey coloured pendant is hung on a hand woven rope cord and Amber toggle to keep it in the same feel as the Mesolithic pendants that inspired this work.
The little bear approximately 43mm long and has tiny carved paws that I Added for my own amusement just because who doesn’t love tiny paw prints 🐾
