This striking set of beads is carved from pieces of natural deer antler paired with ancient bog oak timber from the great fens of Cambridgeshire. This rare Black wood is thousands of years old and dates back to prehistoric times, buried deep under the peat bog the timbers remained pickled in a tannin brine preserving and darkening them beautifully.
