Amber Icicle pendant

This gorgeous piece of natural Baltic amber shows how it formed as the resinous treacle ran down the tree and the icicle like form built up in layers around its self as the tree bled from some sort of breach in the protective bark.
This beautiful piece has had only a light polish to show the depth and colours of the stone while maintaining the original nature of the piece. The stone weighed 20grams before drilling so is a large piece of amber and is a bold statement piece that will catch attention and become a great conversational piece with any outfit from any period in history.
